1. This is information, not advice

VisaMoves publishes aggregated, community-contributed data about visa processing timelines. It is provided for general information only. It is not legal advice, and using this site does not create any professional relationship. Decisions about your own application should be made with a licensed immigration attorney.

2. Not an official source

We are an independent project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the U.S. Department of State, any embassy or consulate, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, or any government body, law firm or visa service. Official information should be taken from official channels.

3. No guarantees about the data

• The data is reported by members of the community and compiled from publicly shared case reports. We do not verify individual accounts and cannot confirm any of them are accurate.
• Timelines describe what happened to other people. They are not a prediction, an estimate or a commitment about what will happen in your case.
• Where a sample is small we try to say so. Treat every figure as an indication, not a fact about your own application.
• The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law we accept no liability for any loss arising from reliance on it.

4. What you contribute

• Only submit information that is yours to share, and keep it anonymous. Do not post passport numbers, DS-160 or case numbers, other people’s details, or documents. Our forms reject content that looks like an identifier.
• By submitting a timeline or a message you grant us permission to publish it anonymously and include it in aggregate statistics. You can ask for it to be removed at any time.
• Do not post abuse, harassment, spam, or offers of paid services. We remove those and block the source.
• Community rooms are public. Anything you write in them can be read by anyone.

5. Acceptable use

Do not scrape the site at volume, attempt to break or overload it, or re-publish the dataset as your own. Reasonable quotation with a link back is fine and welcome. Automated bulk collection is not.

6. Money

The site is free. We do not sell subscriptions, take payment to expedite anything, or sell user data. If a page ever carries a sponsorship or affiliate arrangement, it will say so on that page. Anyone asking you to pay to clear a 221(g) or speed up administrative processing is running a scam.

7. Changes and contact
